Because I too, have a hard time letting go, here’s another vintage desktop background featuring Christian Shephard’s explanation of their “afterlife.”
There’s been a lot of chatter on Twitter from those who loved the finale and those who hated it. Here’s the thing. As with every show, there are elements that fall short, but they do not discount the past 120+ hours. There were things that I was disappointed with that I won’t get into here, but I am thankfully able to appreciate the greater picture and move on. That’s what we’re all expected to do right? So to anyone still spewing hate, remember these two things: One, LOST shouldn’t be judged only on its last two and a half hours. And two, sending the producers very strongly worded hate mail will not change the ending! (<—it’s tacky and it bothers me) Whatever happened, happened whether you liked it or not.
EDIT: I just read the quote I put in the wallpaper, and I realized it perfectly encompasses what LOST is. The series itself is something that was made so that people could come together, whether those people are characters, actors, or fans.
